Plastic Gator Pictures
A smaller scale branding project I did for Plastic Gator Pictures
a screen writing, directing and producing start up.
My client began by explaining his concept for the branding was based on this toy alligator from his childhood:
Words initially included in branding concept were “playful, childlike, approachable”
Preliminary research on image and font.
I wanted to get a nostalgic and human feel through imperfect type and a stamp like quality to the illustration.
I continued with some ideations based on concepts approved of by client.
My client wanted the logo to be more “masculine” with a more straight lines and a logo which could be confined to a square.
